This is Goose Island on Swan Lake in western Montana. I’m not sure if Goose Island is its actual name or if all islands like this are called goose islands as in the type of island a goose would call home. As I get to know places, I find often mind myself wondering how places got their name and imaging the story about how that name came about. Available in photographic and metal prints.
